G E N E R A L R U L E S

1. Respect each and every member of this board. If you disagree with them or do not like them for any particular reason, then please refrain yourself from exhibiting this negative, "feeling". In addition, listen to admins and mods, if you have any problems, Tell Me.

2. No excessive use of vulgar language. We may be the cause of the corrupted minds of our younger generation.

3. No persistent references to sexual preferences. At the least, keep it PG-13.

4. You are all entitled to your own suggestions and comments, however please be nice about them.

5. If you are using anything that is copyrighted, be sure to add a disclaimer.

6. No Spamming, no one wants to read it, and no one really cares.

7. No posting of illegal links, images, or grammar. This would include vulgar and false information, pornography, etc.

8. If you're going to PM me, or a staff member, and it's urgent or important, it had better be. In addition, don't ask us about approving your bios. Just for that we might as well just take our time.

9. All Federal laws, etc apply here. So no racism, threats, etc. Proboards TOS apply as well.

10. Do not be rude or demanding when it comes to someone posting, requesting for a piece of work, or simply asking for something. Learn patience and you can have the world.

11. Please, learn to spell, or if you can't, use the spell-check button. It saves us all from a few migraines.

12. Be polite with me or any staff member on this board. If you choose not to, then we can choose to ban you.

13. No chain letters. The internet is not magical, or mystical in any way, just because you do not make 20 people read a message, will not result in your death. No one cares, and no one likes it.

14. The C-box is for plausible and civilized chatting. If there are any complaints from harassed members or pointing fingers, then the accused member will receive a warning, as well as everyone involved.

15. Have FUN!!!

R O L E P L A Y I N G

1. This is a Realistic RPG. I don't want to see you dodging attacks constantly or still being able to attack after you have obviously been beaten.

2. No one is allowed to kill other people's characters. Unless that person gives you their consent, then go for it. In addition please refrain yourselves from killing canon characters, unless the user states otherwise.

3. Refrain yourself from making Super Strong Characters. That's automatic rejection to your bios. refers to Non Canon Characters

4. No Character Control, it's their decision as to whether or not an attack will hit, they are thrown, or something bad happens to them.

5. No "Ruining the Moment" for couples. No one likes that, and they won't like you. Unless you ask first!

6. Character limits per person is 6.

7. Sex, violence, swearing, etc, is permitted on this board. However, members are mandated to move posts related to sex to the mature board for the sake of “younger” members.

A C T I V I T Y

1. It is mandated that you are active on this site or you are risking the deletion of your account and the loss of your character.

2. Monthly “Activity Checks” are issued in order to determine the activity on the board. If you do not reply to an “Activity Check” then you will lose your account.

3. If you do not plan to be active for a week or more, then it is mandated that you created a thread in the “Introductions and Farewells” board to inform us of your absence. Telling us that you will be gone will save your account from being deleted.

4. If you are inactive for a span of two weeks without leaving a notice. Then your account will be deleted.

5. If you are inactive for a week without leaving a notice, your account will be put on Danger Status indicating that your account is in danger of being deleted.

6. You must post at least 3 times a week all of your characters. If you can exceed the required minimum number of posts, then kudos.

A V A T A R S & S I G N A T U R E S

1. The maximum avatar size that is accepted on this board is 200 x 200 . Any avatar that exceeds the avatar size limit will have their avatar removed or have it resized by a staff member.

2. The maximum signature size limit is 450 x 150. If the signature is any bigger than this, then the signature will be removed.

3. If you are having difficulties with making an avatar or signature, you can request help from any of the staff members.

R E G I S T R A T I O N

1. Characters must be submitted in the "Bio Format" .

2. Characters that cross over from different comic book universes are ideally prohibited from this board. However, characters can have histories that involve the usage of "crossing over" comic book universes, but this information can only be released in the character's biography and not onto these boards. The reason for this is to maintain the "DC" world feel on this board. - Other characters that derive from a separate universe, such as different Television shows or Video Games have a high chance of disapproval if the character is solely based on a single individual from the show. The idea of this board is to maintain the originality and format of the DC universe. Please abide to this.

3. Since the goal of the site is to promote a DC comics related universe, Clash of the Finest issues an Original Character or Non Canon Character limit. The most Non Canon characters a member can have is 2. The Non Canon Character must tie into the DC universe in a reasonable fashion, and must also pertain to the rules that are listed for Non Canon Characters.

4. In order to complete the registration process, you must receive at least one character approval from a staff member of this board. It is only until your character has been moved to the “Character Database” is she/he approved, and when you can begin to roleplay.

5. The character limit on this board is 6 characters. Each character must be on a separate account. Or in other words, no character can share accounts. Additionally, you are able to pick up a new character per 50 posts (A majority of those posts must be in the roleplaying section.)

6. A user can only create an original character after he/she registers as two canon characters (One a hero, and one a villain). You may not pick characters that rival with one another, i.e., Batman and the Joker, Superman and Lex Luthor, Wonder Woman and Cheetah. Additionally, you cannot pick characters that are on the same team. After you have played as the two canon characters, and the staff feels that you have done an excellent job, then you are allowed to create an original character. *Please don't complain about this, as some sites do not allow Custom characters at all*

7. There are certain canon characters that cannot be applied for; these include mega-powerful characters, such as The Spectre, Monitors, Amazo, Dr. Fate, and the latest incarnations of Doomsday. Furthermore, there are certain characters that may have been killed that cannot be chosen either. Finally there are characters that may not be on the board for general plot reasons, and right now Superman is one of them. If you have a question about a specific character, it is best to ask an Elite admin before registering.

The following powers will NOT be allowed for characters:

There may be an exception to this rule, if the user presents valid data and reasoning for the usage of such powers that are listed above. Valid statements would include, limitation of powers, drawbacks in usage of power, etc.

This list only pertains to characters that are created by a user, not to characters from the DC universe.

Before RPing, you must read these rules. If you do not, then it will be assumed that you just aren't following them. This will result in negative consequences for you.
If you disagree with a rule and can present a valid argument, you're welcome to talk to me about it and I may amend the rule. Please check them every now and then. Not knowing a rule is not an excuse for breaking it.

To let us know that you've read and agree to these rules, you are required to put the word "Boom Tube" at the end of your character's bio or else it will not be accepted.
