Rules of the Chat Box
1. Vulgar language and topics are prohibited in the Chat Box.
2. Advertisements are not allowed in the Chat Box.
3. No Baiting, No Harassing, No Flaming, No Antagonizing, No Spamming, No Trolling, and No Fighting.
4. Do not bring board problems (or any other board related activity) in the Chat Box. If it is a problem please PM a staff member so that he or she may resolve it.
5. Do not impersonate anybody in the Chat Box, we will know who you are, and you will be banned.
How to Use the Chat Box
I know, it's a bit confusing at first, but to make your life easier I've created this step by step process to briefly explain how the Chat Box works and how to customize your personal preferences.
Step One
If you're a new user to the Chat Box, the system will automatically recognize your I.P. Address and register you on the Chat Box automatically. Now, because it's automatic, you don't exactly have a screen name that you hand picked yourself. It's common to find yourself signed on as “Snooky Poo”, “Honeycakes” or “Wunny Bunny”. So don't be alarmed when you say hello and you have a rather odd username besides an equally disturbing avatar.

To change your god awful username, and avatar, all you need to do is click on your username in the side box where all the other users are displayed.

When you click on your username, a box will appear over the chat box with different text areas. The most important ones are Name and Picture

The Name textarea should simply consist of the username that you use on the boards. I use Batman (am Batman) so therefore my Name on the chat box will be Batman.
With that done, you can move down to your picture. This will enable you to change the avatar that resides next to your name. In order to successfully apply an avatar, you must first ensure that the picture is 30 x 30 pixels. Once you have confirmed that, you must then upload your image on either imageshack.us or photobucket.com. When you have uploaded the image, copy the image url and paste it into the Picture text area.

When that's all done, simply press okay and your Chat Box personal preferences are successfully altered to your liking!
