The alien invasion had started and they were hitting every place on Earth in force. They wanted something and big to go to all this trouble, but to be honest that was in the back of Wally West's mind at the moment. He was a little preoccupied with saving the lives of Keystone City.
The city was falling into shambles as soon as the attack began. Wally turned into the Flash and he was off. So from one side of town to the other the Flash had to duke it out with any and very alien he met with. There seemed to be no end as the Flash punched and kicked all that he could get. Wally was actually doing the one thing that could save them. He was grabbing people randomly and running them out of town into safety outside of town for the time being.
"Well this is your daily update on anything and everything related to the Flash. Now I know this is a restricted line for us JLA members, but lets just say if their is any of you heroes out there not too busy saving the world I could use a hand."
The Flash spoke into his JLA communicator as he ran by some more people pulling them away from some aliens. He was ducking and dodging all that he could. This was not a good situation for any hero to be in by himself.

Luckily for Flash Captain Marvel had Captain Marvel Jr to help keep Fawcett City safe. He had been fighting over there for hours before he had things under control enough to leave it in the hands of Freddy. The moment he heard the distress call from Flash Captain Marvel didn't hesitate he took flight ultilizing the speed of mercury to the fullest as he crossed several statelines to get to Keystone. Once he was there Captain Marvel didn't waste any time he had been fighting the alien creatures for awhile and he knew that to make things simpler he had to eliminate them with one blow...if he didn't they tended to come back stronger than ever! Captain Marvel punched one a heavy sound could be heard throughout the whole city as the world's mightiest mortal literally cracked the aliens skull and sent it flying into the horizon.
"Hey, Flash looks like you could use some help!"[b] Captain Marvel said he was glad he had the Stamina of Atlas because he had been fighting for hours on end, but thanks to that little ability he showed no signs of being tired at all. Captain Marvel was nowhere near as fast as Flash, but needless to say he was pretty quick in his own right. Captain Marvel began using his speed and strength to the fullest as he punched several aliens ending their existence for the most part with one blow. He noticed a big group of them a couple of feet ahead of him. Looking around Captain Marvel spotted a bus.
He flew over to the empty bus and easily lifted it, he then flew over the group of aliens and slammed the bus down with all his strength hopefully smashing all five of them. To make sure he did things right he lifted the bus up again, and slammed it down. When dealing with creatures like that there was no room to be left for doubt. Captain Marvel then noticed that one of the aliens was about to grab a little girl with one smooth motion he chucked the bus over there, and with excellent aim he hit the alien just seconds before it would have gotten it's hands on the girl.
[b]"Flash I'll hold'em off get everyone to safety!" Captain Marvel said before going back to busting heads. The young superhero would never admit it, but he sort of enjoyed being able to cut loose. That didn't mean the didn't realize the danger at hand...he just rarely got to use his abilities to their fullest like he was doing then. Out of nowhere a group of eight or so jumped on him he managed to shake a couple off, but it was like they had a death grip on him. He didn't need to breath so they weren't choking him or anything they were just greatly hindering his movement! After trying a couple more times to shake'em off. Captain Marvel knew what he had to do to shake'em. "SHAZAM!" After the magic word left his lips a lightning bolt came down and hit him....it turned him back to Billy Batson, but it also fried every single alien that was on him. Without wasting anytime Billy said the magic word again to turn back into Captain Marvel.

All most as soon as the Flash asked for help Captain Marvel appeared. This was an excellent choice for assistance. Captain Marvel not only strong, fast, and smart he also had magic on his side. Flash was still getting the information from Captain Comet as he raced some more people out of the town away from danger.
""Hey, Flash looks like you could use some help!"[b]
"Thanks a lot CM, I'll owe you one for this, but I have to get back to helping people out. Make sure you keep you JLA communicator open Cap Crunch is sending us information on the frequency."
The Flash stated as he ran in and out of town in between sentences. Not that the towns people were all that safe where he was taking them. At least it would take them a little while to find them let a lone kill them. Hopefully the Superman wannabe can hold his weight.
[b]""Flash I'll hold'em off get everyone to safety!""
"Sounds like a plan, though you might want to watch out, them seem to have adapted to my infinity punch attack. So if you don't kill them make sure you use a different attack the next time."
Wally proceeded to inform Captain Marvel as he zigged and zagged some more through the town. He had to make sure everyone was getting away from this invasion, unfortunately even the fast man a live gets exhausted from all the running and carrying he was doing not mentioning the fighting.
When the Flash was on his way out on one set of civilians he noticed a bolt of lightning strike. So Wally rushed back to see Billy Batson turning back into Captain Marvel. It was quite the gimmick, but Wally had wasted enough time as he began to fight and save some more.

Hah! I found someone!
Orion listened to the JLA communicator, as soon as he left Metropolis. Turns out that Captain Marvel was with the Flash, and that they were making mincemeat (or so it seemed) out of the invaders.
I wonder if they found a weakness, Orion thought to himself, smiling. No doubt, they were making a mess of things. He decided to help them out. They were too slow to touch the Flash, Captain Marvel did that painful lightning trick to get them off (oooh, yes. He remembered that. That was painful!) Considering most of the civilians were either dead, in hiding, or both, he could finally use his Astro Force in an aerial attack.
Smack!
A beam of red light shot past Captain Marvel's head and hit the Invader behind him, sending it flying through the air! "Orion's back!," He shouted to the Flash. "No, I didn't notice. That laser wasn't very hard to see. Thanks for letting me know though!," The Flash sarcastically remarked. Orion was a skilled shot, and could hit someone in particular from a couple hundred feet away. As the Astro Force energy shot at the invaders, Orion would make sure that he helped them out for as long as he could, until someone else needed a lot of help. Until the situation was more under control, Orion would stay in Keystone.
After the city is taken back, he would go to Gotham, and see if he could give any assistance to Batman.
Come on! Die already!! Die!!!!!!!

Captain Marvel nodded in response to Flash as he switched his JLA communicator to open. If anyone said anything on the JLA frequency Captain Marvel would hear it. Captain Marvel then went right back into the fray punching the aliens as hard as he could to make sure that when they went down…they stayed down. Captain Marvel reach back as far as he could before punching one alien so hard that simply the sound of the impact caused several nearby windows to shatter. Captain Marvel then grabbed another alien by the throat and was right in the middle of crushing it’s windpipe when he heard the sound of a laser.
It caught him off guard when the laser connected with an alien that was directly behind him. He looked down to see the creature still moving…he knew he had to act fast raising his leg up he then slammed his foot down on the creature’s face with all the strength he could muster. He felt the satisfying crunch of the alien’s skull he then picked up the alien’s dead body and threw into another alien that was just about kill yet another innocent civilian. Flash was doing a great job of getting everyone out, but the damned aliens were everywhere and they were just so many people in keystone city. For the first time in a long time Captain Marvel was unsure of the Justice League could save everyone.
Captain Marvel looked up at Orion. “Oh, great him.” Captain Marvel thought to himself Orion was a good person, but he was much to violent and had problems controlling his temper. Needless too say for someone as passive as Captain Marvel was the two just didn’t mesh. “Nice to have some help around here!” Captain Marvel said to him just because he didn’t particularly like Orion didn’t mean he had to be mean to him, after all with all the stuff that was going on with the alien invasion and everything every helping hand the JLA could get was much appreciated.
Especially someone like Orion the guy had some anger issues, but he sure knew how to take care of himself in some cases more so than Captain Marvel himself did. Captain Marvel flew up so fast that any humans alive to see him probably would have only seen a red gold blur reminiscent of Flash himself…expect it was flying and not moving nearly as fast. Once he was in the middle of the air Captain Marvel looked around to see what else he could do. He saw a big group of aliens right next to a building, and he didn’t even hesitate to fly at top speed right into the middle of them knocking them all over the place in various directions…Captain Marvel was in this fight to the end.

Shooting as many of the invaders as he possibly could, Orion really had nor the time or the patience to say his "hello's" to Captain Marvel, after the last time they met. It's not that he was bitter, and it wasn't that he hated the man. It was the fact that he knew that Captain Mavel disliked him! Captain Marvel definitly is one of the best fighters Orion had ever fought before, next to Superman, and Orion respected him for it. Besides, he had to focus on more important matters than playing children's games. There were lives to save, and invaders to kill.
The real problem they faced, was actually killing them though. No matter how many times Orion blew holes through them, no matter how many times Captain Marvel pulverized them......no matter how many times the Flash used his Infinity Puches, they always seemed to get up as if nothing happened. They regrew like vegetables! It was as if, they had something extra on their side, powering them for their ultimate defence. I have no idea what, but I intend to find out, Orion thought to himself.
Suddenly, one of the invaders that he shot picked up a car and.....
Damn it all!
Flying off of his Asrto Harness, he landed on his feet from about 100 feet in the air with the skills of an acrobat. Swiftly moving on foot now, He made short work of everything in his way! Picking up a semi-truck, he bashed every invader that he could within a twenty foot radius. Seems like a plan, he thought to himself.
"Got any ideas?!" the Flash screamed as he scrambled away from the persistent enemy. "I just got here from my planet two hours ago!" Orion yelled back. "All we can really do is tough it out until one of us finds a way to actually kill them!" He screamed, bashing away at every moving thing he could see. These invaders were unlike anyone Orion has ever fought before. They seemed mindless, but they were obviously intelligent, because they were actually beginning to predict the Flash's movements, somewhat tiring him from what Orion could tell. He knew Captain Marvel was the toughest one there, and even his barrage of fists seemed to slow down. This was going to be a very long battle. Orion could tell considering the odds they faced..............
(Sorry Flash, I used you in a sentence without your permision. Is that ok?)

Vanessa screams, a shrill note of alarm as she rushes yet another alien at top speeds, her amber eyes furious as she twists her entire body up into the air to drive her legs like screwdrivers into the face of the alien that had cornered her. It collapses, hopefully dead as she turns to yet another.
An uppercut. A roundhouse kick. The fighting all blends into one for her as she makes her way through the melee. The citizens of Keystone were safe, so she had no worries as she finally fought a path through the unblinking creatures and took off, literally leaving a trail of smoke as she accelerates to usually unreached speeds, hoping to find Wally before it was too much.
Flashes and booms ahead of her were a large tip off as she rounds a corner, the only memory of her having been there a blur of black and white.
Wally, Captain Marvel and someone who looked vaguely familiar were all fighting together as Vanessa skidded to a halt. She takes her bearings then rushes to help Wally.
"Know anything??" She practically yells as she grabs a young woman around the waist and extends her aura to cover both of them as she takes off again. The young woman safely delivered, Streak returns.

Orion was beginning to think that this fight was one of the top-ten longest fights of his life. Lasting at least ten minutes, it was unbelievable how much stronger the invaders were becoming. It was almost as if they were beginning to match his strength. I shouldn't think that!, he thought to himself. It was a terrible thing to think of. Almost all civilians were brought to safety, thanks to The Flash, and this attractive red-headed woman, he had never seen before. Now all of the invader's attention was focused on the four heroes defending Keystone.
Now leaping over his enemy's, Orion's athletic ability was beginning to be put to the test. Now it was getting harder to hit them, so he had to fight a little bit differently than he normally did to stay on top. Using every trick he had up his sleeve, Orion was still winning against them, but it didn't seem to matter. They just got up punch after crippling punch! Now instead of fighting to defend Keystone, Orion was fighting for his life! And he never thought he would see the day!
He glanced over at Captain Marvel and couldn’t help but notice that most of the invaders were focused on him. Suddenly, about fifteen of them jumped him in the air, tackling him into the ground.
Zap!
Turning back into his youth Orion saw that obviously, the same trick didn’t work twice. As soon as the invaders hit the ground from Captain Marvel’s transformation, they got back up as if nothing happened. Captain Marvel was still in his child mode! I have to save him!, Orion thought to himself.
Concentrate……Concentrate…..Focus…….Anger……………..
Focusing all of his strength to his core muscles and arms, Orion leapt up into the air and smashed the ground with his fist………
Boom!
The invaders leapt up into the air to attack Marvel, as soon as when Orion hit the ground. His punch didn’t just create a small earthquake as some would have expected, but it was so concentrated, that it actually in the end formed a small wall around Captain Marvel’s youth, sending the invaders flying farther than Orion had ever seen them go!
Zap!
Captain Marvel was back into an adult again, and as he got up, him and Orion made eye contact. They stared at each other for a good couple of seconds. He saw Captain Marvel’s lips move, but couldn’t tell what he was saying. Orion guessed it was a “Thank You.” Orion then said quietly, “You’re Welcome.” and the two rivals went back to fighting for Keystone……….

(OOC: I realize that your new, but it's not generally accepted that you control other's people's characters without permission. I'll roll with your post but just remember the only character you control...is yours. After all remember Cap has the Wisdom Of Solomon so he probably would've noticed already that the same attack wouldn't work twice. Especially after witnessing the aliens come back strong every time he apparently beats them.))
Now, Captain Marvel was angry. Unlike the other heroes he wasn't tired at all in fact the World's Mightiest Mortal had problems thinking about any time where he had actually gotten tired. Thanks to the Stamina Of Atlas chances were the man would have to fight for literally days on end before any signs of fatigue could be noticed. And even then chances are he'd just have to keep on fighting, the aliens however were like cockroaches it seemed that no matter how many times he squished them they just kept coming back. Captain Marvel needed time to think while he was in the air he attempted to collect his thoughts and use the Wisdom Of Solomon to help him think of something he could do to help beat the aliens back permanently.
However, right when he was in the middle of trying to think he was caught off guard by several of the aliens jumping on him. He struggled for awhile, but eventually they managed to force him to the ground...none of their actions were hurting him after all Captain Marvel was rarely hurt by anything, but they were managing to restrict his movements. It was like they were smart enough to realize that he was one of the bigger threats so they were trying to keep him immobilized. Captain Marvel smiled thought...he would not be held as easily as they thought he would be. Had he not been so cocky he might've have sought Solomon's advice before doing what he did next.
SHAZAM! Captain Marvel said causing the magic lightning bold that fueled his transformation to come down and strike the aliens and him just as it had did before. The aliens were blown off, but other than that they didn't seem to effected by it something that was amazing as it was well known in the super hero world that Cap's lightning was one of the most powerful energy attacks out there...even Superman himself was hurt by it. The aliens were up almost instantly and they looked almost happy as they came at young Billy Batson.
Billy no longer having the Courage of Achilles at his side was scared out of his mind so much so that he didn't even think of trying to say the magic word again to see if he could manage to transform back into Captain Marvel before the things got to him. Billy barely held back a scream of fright as he scrambled back wards from the aliens for the first time in a long time being scared for his life. Captain Marvel might not have had any weaknesses, but Billy Batson was just as vulnerable as every other person was.
The aliens then jumped at him and he closed his eyes waiting to feel there claws rip through him he was made of toilet paper. But amazingly instead of feeling them he heard something that damn near broke his ear drums it was like an earth quake or something...such a sound was something he was used to after all he did stuff like that all the time when he was Captain Marvel, Billy opened his eyes to see Orion had punched the ground and created a rock wall between him and the aliens. Billy wanted to thank him then and there, but he figured it was best to get back into the form where he didn't have to worry about being ripped to shreds first.
"SHAZAM!" Billy said at the top of his lungs as if he felt screaming the magic word would make the lightning come faster than it already did. As usual almost instantly a lightning bolt came down from the heavens and struck Billy Batson dead on. For a split second it was to bright to even look at the boy, but after that Billy was no longer there instead he was once again Captain Marvel...and his face didn't look to happy. The Courage Of Achilles took all the fear he had had as Billy Batson and turned into a rage that served to fuel the might of Captain Marvel. The World's Mightiest Mortal would make them pay for making him fear for his life...he would make them pay with their lives.
Captain Marvel was usually an extremely hard person to make angry. He had the patience of a saint and it usually got him a lot to even fight much less get angry. But the combination of the aliens attacking his hometown, his planet, killing innocent people. And almost killing him as Billy Batson had pushed the Captain over the edge he was angry now...and he would show him just how dangerous he could be. He locked eyes with Orion who probably noticed the look in his eye...he muttered a word of thanks to the man before going back into the fray. He flew at the aliens with a new found vigor as he punched them with all his might. He was hitting them so hard that the sound of the impact alone echoes through Keystone City...Flash's hometown had just become a battle field for the world's mightiest mortal.

This place is burning to the ground......
Orion saw that after two hours of fighting to defend the once peaceful city of Keystone, that the city was beginning to deteriorate, from their relentless fighting. Fighting that didn't seem to do a thing for their goal. The invaders always came back as strong as ever! It seemed like a war the Earth could not and problably wouldn't win. Parasites! Everyone one of those blood-suckers has to pay for what they've done!, Orion thought in anger as he looked up into the sky on his Astro Harness. But how? He would do whatever he could to take any innocent lives to a safe area, but more and more people were being devoured by these things! Using his skilled marksmanship, he would use the Astro Force to bring his enemy to justice. He could not miss! He would not miss! Every blast sent from his weapon of justice would fire true, as the heart of the mighty New God! To The Source with you scum!, he thought, eyes redened with hatred for his new enemy! Innocent lives were at stake!
He then heard a voice. A woman's voice that sounded musical.......magical......
Orion. You must take care of this problem not only for your planet, but for the other living beings that need your help. You must devote your ability to help destroy the darkness. As the champion of The Source, you have been granted powerful gifts that you have yet to still tap into......These invaders, are only a childish game for what is awaiting your future. Darkseid has a plan to dominate the galaxy, and the prophecy will be fullfilled........ Destroy the Darkness............
"Destroy the Darkness!", Orion screamed with all of his might! Maybe he found some of the power to defeat the evil. He felt a new strength come over him that was a once, or twice in a lifetime thing. He could win!
Time suddenly slowed down for Orion, as he used his masterful accuracy. Each blast sent, blew off the heads of two or more invaders, each. It takes a couple of minutes for them to regenerate, so this would give Captain Marvel, The Flash and that woman, (How Come I cannot remember that human's name?) to try to finish them off while they are temporarily dead.
Orion would fight to the death! This was one thing he was sure of! All that stood in his way between him and the overall goal he had of killing Darkseid, would meet the same fate as Darkseid!
This was the beginning of the end. For either the heroes or the incredibly powerful invaders.....
(OOC: Lol, I'm sorry. I totally understand that and appreciate the advice. So thank you, and I will try not to pull any of that stuff.)

The Flash was doing what he did best; run and rescue everyone. His speed was the key to saving as many as possible. Keeping the civilians out of Captain Marvel and now Orions way was key. When ever he had the chance he would run in and throw a punch and chat.
"Got any ideas?"
The Flash asked as he jetted by Orion. He was moving so fast past him that he did not hear his reply. Captain Marvel was 'Shazam'ing the crap out of the monsters in big groups. Some of the would get up and heal, which meant they would be seemingly immune from that.
Streak had now joined in the battle. Another speedster was going to be a big help to the Flash. Wally did not have time to stop and explain a lot, since well there was a lot of people to save and not a lot of time to do so.
On his next trip through the maze of aliens the Flash was tripped and sent flying down the road. He was now surrounded by the aliens with no help in sight. So the Flash once again did the only thing he knew how to do, run. Getting up he took off in a circle vibrating as fast as he could. A high pitched whistling noise came from his speed. Now know it the aliens began to fall near him. They were grabbing their heads like they were in pain, though the Flash was not really paying attention since he was just trying to vibrate fast enough to get past them.
This is when the unexpected happened. The aliens around him started to bleed or something that would be blood started to run out their ears and mouths before they exploded. That is right their heads exploded, but it only happened near him. This freaked the Flash out thinking it was something else so he had to get out of there. He had to get a hold of Comet before anything else happened to him or others around him.
((I tried to post the way Batman and Comet made it sound. the head exploding was Batman's idea....))

"WHAT?", screamed Orion. That was the strangest thing he had ever heard. They could be immune to anything, and blow their heads up to create mass damage?
No. That can't be right, thought Orion as he soared over to where the Flash was fighting.
Picking up his communicater, Orion spoke clearly and thoughtfully as he tried to figure out what just happened......
"Captain Comet! This is Orion! These monsters seem invincible, but nevertheless, the Flash had found a way to kill them. How exactly did they die? Through the Flash's vibrations? If so, then which weakpoint did the vibrations penetrate? They have to have a weakness, Captain. Everyman and being has a weakness. Flash! If you can hear me on the communicater, keep creating those vibrations! Run as fast as you can and keep killing them until the weakness is apparent! Run, Flash! Run!"
He observed carefully for the Flash's movements held the key to the Galaxie's survival. He didn't know why but he had to find out...................

Orion caused mass vehicular explosions with the help of his Astro Harness. Unfortunately, he had no possible way of killing them, considering supersonic sound and speed was out of his reach. He understood that Captain Comet had found a weakness in the seemingly invincibe ASAD's. Plus, he felt that considering one of the four fighting for Keystone has the weakness at his disposal. He felt needed no longer.
"I must leave now! I am needed on my homeplanet, and it looks like Flash has the weakness at his fingertips.....eh......or I should say at his toe-tips. I'm not very good with words, so I shall make it, as you humans say, 'Short and Sweet'. I am grateful to meet you all, again. Time is short, and lives need to be saved, so I must say my farewells. Perhaps we will meet another time!," he screamed amidst the chaos. He could only hope they heard him, as he zipped at Jetplane speed, for where he first arrived. Metropolis.
Flying as fast as he could, Orion felt torn between his duty as a Justice League member, and the duty of a New God leader. He could only hope The Highfather, had found a way to keep most of his people safe and secure. His people were strong. They could last a few hours, while he sorted things out. He squinted in the Northern direction he was headed. There it was. Metropolis. Maybe he would find familiar faces besides Comet there. (OOC: This last post of mine sucks....)
